Wroclaw (pronounced Vrots-love) is one of the oldest and most beautiful Polish cities. Situated in southwestern Poland, upon the Odra River and cut through by its numerous tributaries and canals, it is an exceptional city of 12 islands and 112 bridges. It's a city that is constantly developing: after Warsaw, it's the second largest financial center in the country. During the past years it has become a very popular holiday destination – but still not as commercial as Krakow or Warsaw. It was voted The Best Party Place in Poland by top Polish and foreign magazines (Newsweek). That is mostly caused by the atmosphere that you encounter when you visit our city. The amount of pubs, clubs, restaurants and coffee shops is amazing. The prices that they offer are amazing as well, especially for foreigners. Nightlife in Wroclaw is a lot cheaper than in Warsaw or Krakow!

It is also worth mentioning that Wroclaw is a city of young people. It's one of the biggest university centers in the country.
